Members of the SA1 and MMBFC fishing clubs visited Kilmore Quay South East Wexford in Ireland for their annual club trip incorporating shore and boat fishing.

The trip was planned over a year ago, after a number of members had visited and had successful fishing trips over a number of years. On the Saturday we were met by Ashley Hayden a very knowledgeable fisherman and guide to Lady Island for the club shore championship, the beach was easily accessible with a rolling surf, the shore line was awash with white bait that had been chased ashore by the hungry mackerel it was a sight I have never seen in 40 years of fishing
